How To Save Template Settings To Use Again Later Or Send To Support?

There is a couple of reasons you may want to save your settings:

  1. You will create another volume of a puzzle book / activity book down the road, or some other type of book. So rather than writing down all the settings you have, just save the file.
  2. You may be having issues with a template or certain puzzle. In most cases we will need your CSV file you are using and usually your settings you are using.

Once you are on the settings page and have everything selected. Then press the save button

It will then download the saved settings file to your default download folder.

This file will be called something like WordSearchCustom.Json

We highly recommend that you copy or cut this file and put into a folder, saved on your desktop or documents, called something like Puzzle Settings or whevever you will remember and where you put it.

Then rename the file to something that will make sense to you down the road. Something maybe like 100 Word Search Puzzle Books (WS Custom).Json . I like to includ the name of the template as well in the parentheses so I remember which template I was using if there is many of the same types like we offer with word search.

Then down the road, all you need to do is go back to that template you want, on the settings page, scroll to the bottom and pick Load

It will open a window, you just go to the folder you saved the file into originall and click it and then open and all your settings will be loaded.

One extra tip, I always record a quick video of all my settings as well just as an extra backup and save it into a folder as well. Video ends up being 5 seconds. Just a extra backup.
