[KDP ROYALTIES] Someone Purchased My Book, Why Doesn't the Sale Show Up?

When you sell a book, the sale does not instantly go onto your sales report on the KDP Dashboard.

So a friend or someone you know might have told you they bought a book or you seen on your ads console you sold one or 2, yet on the KDP dashboard they do not show up. They will, give it time, see blow for a further explanation in the bolded paragraph.

On your ads console, they will show when the person puts processes their order on Amazon. But it will not be on your KDP dashboard.

Once Amazon has processed the book, meaning, printed, packaged, ready to ship and the person's Credit Card is charged, it will then show up in your sales within a couple to a few hours.

The difference in seeing the sale on KDP Dashboard from your Amazon Ads Console, could be one day, two days, and in some cases 3 or 4 days. It will depend when the book was ordered after they clicked the ad, so if 11 PM could be 2 or 3 days before shipped out. The facility could be behind or a machine down and be a couple or 3 days. Someone may not have prime and it won't go out as fast. It could be a holiday, people could be sick that print the books. There are so many variables. So be patient.
