I m new in the self publishing world and or Book Bolt, what is the best way to learn?

How can I promote my book?

How can I get reviews? 

• People have asked, can I ask people to give me reviews? We recommend you do not pay a service to give you reviews, trade for reviews, beg for reviews, ask friends for reviews. KDP can consider that a manipulation of their services and usually ban you right away and odds of winning any appeal are low to nil.
• Create quality books and the reviews will come. It can be frustrating to sell 100 books and only have 3, 4, 5 or 7 reviews, but that is about the average reviews a book will get, is 5% percent.
• You can add a QR code on your first or last page if you wish. See this article on how to do this. The link provided in the article, just sends people to their most recent purchases.

Should I learn about doing research or can I just make the books I want?

• You can do either, we all want to jump in and make books, buy them, get our friends to, we get it, 100%. The reality is if you want to build up sales that will last for years, you really should take the time to learn about research and making books that people want, not so much what you want. How can I get my own author page?

• It is pretty easy, but keep in mind you are limited to 3 and if you want more, up to 7, you must email KDP and be approved maybe, on a case by case basis. Be sure you want to use up a slot as well, they generally do not edit or remove these pages. Remember you can have as many Pen Names as you want, but Author Pages you care limited.
